Fondation Cartier pour l’Art Contemporain, 2 place du Palais-Royal, Paris 1erMulti-Michelin-starred chef Anne-Sophie Pic opens a new chapter, bringing her cookware and poetic cuisine to the Fondation Cartier pour l’Art Contemporain from autumn 2026. Recently relocated just steps from the Louvre, the venue will host a new restaurant as well as a bar highlighting her explorations in mixology, in collaboration with sommelier Paz Levinson.
Calcifer, Paris
With this brand-new venture, Antoine Rollin aims to develop a menu centered around open-flame and charcoal grilling. As you might have guessed, the name ‘Calcifer’ references the fire demon from Howl’s Moving Castle by Hayao Miyazaki. This is a fitting nod to the culinary identity of the upcoming restaurant, where meats, fish and seafood, and vegetables will be prepared over an open flame, with particular attention to direct heat — and, quite naturally, the smoky flavors that result from it.
