Osteria Del Mare by Bocconcino
Glitzy Italian restaurant Bocconcino is trying something a little different with its latest opening, with a focus on seafood this time around. In charge of the menu here is chef Matteo Massafra, who has spent time in Barrafina, Prada Milano and Cafe Dior.
Row on 5
Interesting news reaches us of a plan by Jason Atherton to open what’s being described as a ‘flagship restaurant’ in Mayfair. Row on 5 will take over two floors of a new building on Savile Row. The concept is “a culinary voyage” involving a multi-course dining experience. On the ground floor, there’s a mix of counter dining and tables for 36 diners.
Bottarga
Recently Chicama, from the people behind Pachamama, closed in Chelsea. However, they’ve hung on to the space and are opening a new restaurant there pretty sharpish, called Bottarga. This new opening will actually be closer to the group’s restaurant in Notting Hill, Zephyr, albeit a more casual version.
